Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to handle the movement of goods within our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient flow of materials from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalanced, reach trucks, and order pickers, to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and store inventory. A thorough understanding of safety procedures is essential, and all operators must strictly adhere to company policies and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Daily inspection of equipment is mandatory to ensure safe operation. You will also be tasked with organizing the warehouse floor, staging shipments, and assisting with inventory counts. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records is important. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs will be required.
