About
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, scheduling work, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. As a supervisor, you will be expected to motivate your team, implement operational efficiencies, and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. Strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain management are essential. You will be responsible for training new employees, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires a commitment to Safety, including the enforcement of proper PPE usage and safe work practices. You will manage workflows that involve significant Lifting and ensure the overall efficiency of our logistics hub. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
