Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
- Participate in ongoing training programs related to equipment operation and safety.
- Assist with warehouse setup and organization to ensure efficient workflow and maximum space utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues impacting logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
