Become a key player in our logistics network as a Distribution Center Associate in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will engage in diverse tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your dedication to accuracy and speed will directly impact our operational success. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This position involves significant physical work, including substantial lifting and movement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Contribute to overall team goals and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 60 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
