This role requires consistent physical exertion, including significant lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate methods.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Load trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and achieve operational goals in our logistics center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 pounds, on a regular basis.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in using basic warehouse tools.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
