Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets, merchandise, and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts, reporting any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas, maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and location verification as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and any challenges.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
