*About the Role*
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be confident working across both *commercial and domestic* environments, providing *first-response diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and plumbing support*.
You will be responsible for attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, completing installation/repair tasks, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining excellent customer service.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Respond to emergency breakdowns and call-outs
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and domestic gas systems
* Carry out plumbing repairs and minor installations
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Work safely to industry standards and company policies
* Provide clear job sheet reporting and customer communication
*Essential Qualifications & Skills*
* Current *Commercial Gas (COCN1 or CODNCO1)*
* Current *Domestic Gas ACS* qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, etc.)
* NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing (or equivalent) desirable
* Gas Safe registered (individual or via company)
* Full UK driving licence
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Strong communication and customer service attitude
*Desirable Experience*
* Previous experience in a breakdown/maintenance role
* First-response field experience
* Experience in heating system repairs and controls

Pay: £31,147.02-£60,186.71 per year
