We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and help us deliver outstanding resident care.
Relocation available for the right person!
*Responsibilities*
* Provide overall clinical leadership and direction for the nursing department
* Ensure high standards of quality care, resident safety, and regulatory compliance
* Develop, implement, and update nursing policies, procedures, and best practices
* Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; promote a positive, team-focused culture
* Oversee staffing patterns, scheduling, and daily workflow to ensure adequate coverage
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other departments to coordinate care
* Monitor resident outcomes, incident reports, and quality indicators, and lead improvement initiatives
* Participate in care plan meetings, audits, and surveys; respond to survey findings and implement plans of correction
* Manage nursing budget, supplies, and resources efficiently
* Serve as a role model for professionalism, ethical practice, and resident-centered care
*Qualifications*
* Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
* 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
* Experience in long-term care / skilled nursingstrongly preferred
* Knowledge of state and federal]regulations, standards of practice, and survey processes
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to build trust, coach staff, and foster a culture of accountability and respect
* Computer proficiency and comfort with electronic health records (EHR)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
