Your responsibilities

Be responsible for daily operational risk reporting to market risk and front office teams for Coal, Gas and LNG desks same as for the daily executive, regulatory and treasury reporting
Deliver accurate, timely and relevant information for all of Uniper’s reportable activities pertaining to portfolio positions, performance and risks
Understand the current end-to-end processes, Uniper’s business model and energy markets, so to be able to mould processes according to business needs and to the external environment
Design and create data products that provide deeper insights, explain broader developments, and adapt to the changing external environment
Be passionate about and actively improve data flows via automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) or any other feasible way
Manage stakeholders – understand data demand, build new data products, manage expectations
Manage change – in traditional projects as well as agile delivery, collaborate with peers (data and project managers) to get projects executed
Take full ownership for all the above

Your profile

University education in the areas of Business Administration/ Economics/Finance, Business Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable)
At least five years of relevant working experience in financial/ risk reporting, energy markets and trading
Structured, target- and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, even under time pressure
Proficient in or eager to learn and carry out automation, AI and ML initiatives
Be able and enjoy working both autonomously and within a team
Drive to take ownership of initiatives and projects
Excellent communication skills
Ideally relevant experience in project/team lead & management and stakeholder management
Be enthusiastic about growing and developing others
Proficient knowledge in SQL, PowerBI and MS Office skills
Strong team spirit & sense of humour
Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
