About
We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Provo, Utah. This is a critical role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods within the facility, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and excellent operational skills. You will play a key part in maintaining the flow of our Logistics chain. A commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and proper use of equipment is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas and to shipping docks.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper stacking and securing of loads.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times when operating equipment or in designated areas.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Understanding of Logistics principles.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
