About
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will support the efficient management of our warehouse inventory, contributing directly to our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, organizing stock, and investigating discrepancies. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are crucial for success in this position. We are dedicated to providing a safe working environment, and all employees must adhere to safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily administrative, some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting, may be required. Join us and help maintain the integrity of our valuable inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing regular inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Record inventory data accurately in the inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working with relevant departments.
- Organize and maintain the neatness of inventory storage areas.
- Track and report on the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Prepare inventory reports and summaries as needed.
- Ensure all inventory is properly tagged and labeled.
- Support receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related tasks.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to proper usage of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in inventory control, data entry, or a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills and accuracy.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is advantageous.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and safety practices.
