We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and efficient workflow management. You will be operating various equipment to move inventory and ensure that our logistics operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and possess the physical stamina for lifting and moving goods. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and sort incoming materials.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
