We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This multifaceted role involves supporting various warehouse operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the unloading and receiving of incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and speed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with other warehouse tasks.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and wear PPE.
- Understanding of logistics processes is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
