About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on supporting the receiving, warehousing, and distribution logistics processes within our facility. You will ensure that materials are handled correctly, stored properly, and transported to designated areas in a timely manner. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all operating procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential. This position requires a high degree of precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations. Your expertise with forklifts is critical to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks with merchandise.
- Move pallets of goods to and from storage locations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by moving stock to designated areas.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Stack and arrange merchandise in designated warehouse areas.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent knowledge of forklift safety procedures. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
