Job Summary:
Our distribution center in Des Moines, Iowa, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. This is a multifaceted role that supports various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. As a DC Associate, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network, ensuring products are handled efficiently and accurately. You will be expected to perform a range of tasks, from operating equipment to maintaining inventory integrity. A strong commitment to safety is crucial, and all associates must adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize the necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
  • Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment with speed and accuracy.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided for qualified candidates).
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution center.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Support shipping operations by preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics operations.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus. Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods. Familiarity with basic logistics principles. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong work ethic and reliability.
