We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics facility in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure product quality.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company policies, especially those concerning Safety.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a Picking and Packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability for regular Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Good eyesight and attention to detail are crucial for accuracy.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Commitment to following Safety instructions.
