We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our energetic team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items according to order tickets and efficiently packing them for shipment. This position is critical to ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Read order tickets and accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as restocking and inventory checks.
- Follow company procedures for Lifting and handling of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good reading comprehension and basic math skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety rules, including the use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
