You will be instrumental in optimizing inventory management, streamlining shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a high level of productivity. Responsibilities include supervising personnel, managing inventory levels, coordinating with transportation partners, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Coordinate with carriers and manage shipping schedules.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Manage warehouse space utilization and organization.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE requirements.
