You will be involved in various tasks such as receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your ability to adapt to different operational needs will be key to your success. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all associates are required to utilize provided PPE and strictly follow all safety protocols. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to perform consistent lifting and operate material handling equipment. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount as you contribute to fulfilling customer orders and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. You will work collaboratively with other team members, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Accurately pick orders based on pick lists or scanning devices.
- Package orders appropriately for safe transit.
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other relevant equipment is a significant plus.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Capacity for consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all logistics regulations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
