About
We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily operations at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This role is pivotal in overseeing warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership will directly impact our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and the use of PPE.
- Maintain records of warehouse activities and performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruption.
- Manage logistics operations to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory control procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
