Our Provo, Utah facility is seeking an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming inventory. As the first point of contact for all deliveries, you will be responsible for accurately checking, documenting, and preparing goods for distribution. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of products through our logistics chain. The ideal candidate is meticulous, physically capable, and committed to upholding stringent safety standards. You will work collaboratively with our warehouse team and external suppliers to maintain efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect all received items for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all received goods into the inventory management system.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Organize and stage received goods for efficient put-away or staging.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing PPE as necessary.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Perform duties requiring regular Lifting and movement of inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety .
- Good communication skills.
