We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our Tampa, Florida facility! This is a hands-on role critical to the success of our **logistics** operations. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. We are looking for dedicated individuals who prioritize **safety** and efficiency in their daily tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
- Conduct routine **safety** inspections of the warehouse and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Follow all company **safety** guidelines and wear the mandated **PPE**.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and **safety** procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**, such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Understanding of **logistics** principles is a plus.
- Must be dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
