Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our warehouse. Your duties will include loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing materials to ensure smooth operational flow and timely order fulfillment. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training, along with all the necessary PPE required for your protection. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and into storage areas.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
  • Sort and organize materials based on product type, destination, or customer order.
  • Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all guidelines.
  • Ensure proper use of all provided PPE at all times while on duty.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in safety training and actively contribute to maintaining a safe workplace culture.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is highly desirable. Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for the duration of the shift. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and safety regulations. Dedication to following safety protocols and proper use of PPE. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
