Job Summary:
We are hiring a Warehouse Worker in Portland, Oregon to be a vital part of our logistics network. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will handle tasks such as receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing goods for shipment. Our goal is to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for our customers, and your contribution is essential to achieving this. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting, standing, and movement. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
  • Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices and order sheets.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring quality and proper labeling for shipment.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and prevent hazards.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment is a plus. Must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of basic inventory control principles. Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines, including PPE usage. Good communication and teamwork skills.
