We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of materials. As a Material Handler, you will operate various types of equipment to transport goods, assist in inventory management, and ensure that products are ready for shipment. Your role is key to maintaining productivity and supporting our commitment to timely deliveries. Safety is a top priority in all our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies) to move goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory stock.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Support picking and packing processes as directed.
- Adhere to all established safety rules and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating basic material handling equipment.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and a commitment to following them.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and committed to meeting performance expectations, including wearing required PPE.
