Job Summary:
Our growing logistics company is looking for a proactive Warehouse Coordinator in Dallas, Texas. This role is central to the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving oversight of daily warehouse activities, staff supervision, and inventory management. You will ensure that all operations run smoothly, safely, and in accordance with company standards. A keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring performance meets expectations.
  • Oversee the proper storage and organization of goods to maximize space and accessibility.
  • Implement and enforce all safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations, including the correct use of PPE .
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with transportation and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain records of warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving logs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved efficiency in our logistics chain.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and secure at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in warehouse coordination, supervision, or management.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Physical capability for occasional moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety and ensuring proper use of PPE .
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
