Job Summary:
Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska? We are actively recruiting for experienced operators to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that inventory is handled safely and effectively. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to strict safety guidelines, and properly utilizing all required PPE are paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or damages immediately.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Strictly follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE .
  • Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, which may involve some manual lifting .

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with certification is required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Strong understanding of forklift operational safety .
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and wearing required PPE .
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
