Our growing logistics facility in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to be a key part of our warehouse operations. The Material Handler is responsible for all aspects of material movement within the warehouse, from receiving to shipping. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring product integrity, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using manual or powered equipment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Must be able to handle frequent and significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory control is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using material handling equipment.
- Good physical condition and stamina for a demanding job.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
