We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflows, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining a productive and safe work environment. A proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics best practices are required. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. We are committed to Safety and provide all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with PPE usage.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control measures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure safe operation.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety and ensuring proper PPE use.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
