Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are looking for a certified and experienced individual to expertly maneuver forklifts and other material handling equipment. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting various warehouse operations. This role demands precision, a strong understanding of Safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting and standing.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
