Join our team as a Forklift Operator in vibrant San Francisco, California! We are looking for experienced and certified Forklift Operators to manage the movement of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your primary role will be to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support other warehouse operations. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all operators must be diligent in following established procedures and guidelines. This position is vital to our Logistics chain, ensuring that products are handled with care and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack merchandise to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth Logistics operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated proficiency.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
