Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper stock rotation. You will work closely with the warehouse team to implement inventory control procedures and optimize storage efficiency. A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is essential. Safety is a paramount concern, and you will be expected to enforce safety guidelines and ensure that all team members utilize the correct PPE. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to perform some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment planning.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO, FEFO).
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with operations staff to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols and ensure proper PPE is utilized.
  • Support overall logistics and warehouse management functions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform occasional Lifting.
  • Commitment to Safety and diligent use of PPE.
