Job Summary:
Join our team as a Forklift Operator in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our busy distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, and relocate inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring the timely processing of orders. Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
  • Transport inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages promptly.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting and put-away.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, strictly adhering to Safety regulations.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures governing warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Be prepared for occasional manual tasks and moderate Lifting when not operating machinery.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrable experience.
  • Proven track record of safe operation in a warehouse or distribution setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment in confined spaces and busy environments.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
  • Capability to perform occasional manual Lifting and other physical tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus for our logistics operations.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment is essential.
