We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our bustling logistics hub in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. This role requires a high degree of skill in operating various types of forklifts, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in managing inventory flow, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while operating machinery.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Be prepared for occasional manual Lifting of items when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts in tight spaces and high-traffic areas.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform occasional manual tasks and light Lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems is a plus for our logistics processes.
- Commitment to a zero-accident Safety record.
