About
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Provo, Utah, to support our extensive logistics operations. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our distribution center, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. You will be required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Sort and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack products securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Properly use and maintain assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and warehouse management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace regulations.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule if needed.
- Understanding of inventory control principles.
- Desire to learn and grow within the company.
