We have an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk at our Dallas, Texas warehouse. This critical role ensures the accurate and efficient intake of all incoming goods, forming the foundation of our robust logistics operations. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and processing the receipts into our inventory system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining a safe and orderly receiving area. Your ability to identify discrepancies and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams is paramount. This position requires adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, to ensure a secure working environment. You will be a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that all incoming products are accounted for and ready for distribution. - Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently and safely.
- Inspect goods for damage or shortages and accurately record findings.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Process receipts into the inventory management system.
- Label and stage received products for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and receiving procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
