Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Packing and preparing orders for shipment.
- Organize and arrange stock within the warehouse, ensuring easy accessibility and optimal space utilization.
- Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to strict safety standards, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, promoting a safe workplace.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, which may involve significant lifting.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus. Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and endurance, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE. Familiarity with basic inventory management principles. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills. Must be reliable and punctual.
