About
Join our team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Material Handler! We are searching for a reliable and experienced individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is central to our Logistics operations, ensuring that materials are efficiently transferred, stored, and retrieved. You will operate forklifts and other equipment to handle palletized goods, assist in maintaining an organized inventory, and support shipping and receiving activities. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and you must be proficient in operating equipment responsibly and adhere to all Safety regulations. We provide the necessary PPE and expect it to be used consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock accurately.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all established Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Wear required PPE at all times, especially when operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting, up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Understanding of Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to following all Safety practices and wearing PPE.
