This role involves physical work, including lifting and maneuvering equipment parts, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute to our goal of operational excellence and continuous improvement within our logistics network. Understanding the importance of safety in a warehouse environment and adhering to all safety regulations is critical. Regular maintenance checks and the ability to perform minor repairs are key to this role. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support logistics operations by minimizing downtime.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and climbing.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
