We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Los Angeles, California facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, implementing stock control procedures, and assisting with physical inventory. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have accurate stock data for efficient order fulfillment and replenishment. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles. A commitment to safety is essential; you must follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper lifting techniques. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to operational efficiency and cost reduction.   • Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Reconcile inventory records with physical stock.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure product freshness.
  • Work with WMS to track inventory movements.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
This role requires the ability to analyze data, perform precise counts, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Thorough understanding of inventory management in a logistics context is key.
