You will play a key part in verifying deliveries against purchase orders, identifying any damages or discrepancies, and processing received goods into our inventory system. This position involves standing for extended periods and may require lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Document any damages or discrepancies found during receiving.
- Accurately enter received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stage received items for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Follow all established safety procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
