This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stock loss. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by ensuring that our stock is accurately tracked and readily available. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a dedication to maintaining order are essential for success in this position. You will collaborate with various departments to resolve inventory issues and improve processes. Upholding stringent safety protocols and proper handling procedures is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock movements.
- Identify and address potential issues related to inventory accuracy and storage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, adhering to all Lifting guidelines.
- Uphold company Safety standards and ensure the correct use of PPE .
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements to inventory processes.
- Support the Logistics team by providing accurate inventory information.
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE .
- Familiarity with Logistics principles is advantageous.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
