We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this essential role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, experienced with reach trucks, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Safety is our utmost priority, and you will be required to strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires proficiency in operating specialized equipment and involves physical demands, including regular lifting. Become a key player in our fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, put away, and retrieve pallets of merchandise.
- Safely stack and unstack products in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform regular inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers as needed.
- Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift/reach truck certification.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all PPE requirements.
