Job Summary:
We are seeking diligent Warehouse Associates to contribute to our operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods within our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from receipt to dispatch. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including inventory management, order processing, and ensuring the safe handling of materials. Our commitment to Safety is unwavering, and we provide comprehensive training, including the mandatory use of PPE, to all our employees. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and attention to detail, perfect for individuals interested in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately store goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate systems.
  • Pick and pack orders with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification and training provided).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Adhere strictly to the proper use of all required PPE.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 55 pounds.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics best practices.
  • Willingness to wear and maintain PPE, such as safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Flexible availability for shifts, including potential overtime.
