Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics network as a Material Handler at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. This position is essential for the smooth flow of materials within our distribution center. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for various stages of the supply chain. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from different areas of the warehouse, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a demanding environment. Your role directly impacts the productivity and success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas using appropriate equipment.
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes, verifying incoming shipments.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors (certification may be required).
  • Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE .
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Support the overall logistics and warehousing functions through efficient material movement.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50-75 pounds.
  • Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety in all tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
