Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts or other relevant equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
