About
Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is vital to our overall logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels. If you possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to accuracy, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies with urgency and accuracy.
- Maintain and update inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and report on stock status.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure proper organization and placement of all inventory items.
- Track the inbound and outbound movement of goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, receiving, and shipping departments.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and wear mandatory PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability for occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Dedication to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
