We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and handling of materials throughout our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading, transporting goods, and ensuring materials are organized and accessible for our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and has a strong commitment to safety. - Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and production lines.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas.
- Verify counts and inspect materials for damage.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Support the overall logistics and operations of the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform lifting up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
