Join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Material Handler! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of products from receiving to shipping. You will operate various types of equipment, assist with inventory management, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers with incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, practicing good housekeeping.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow as needed.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational goals and maintain productivity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 70 lbs frequently.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be committed to maintaining a high level of safety.
