Providence is offering up to a $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment — this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Echocardiology, the Senior Echocardiology Technologist performs Echocardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required and does related work as assigned. The Senior Echocardiology Technologist also precepts echo students and is responsible for orienting new staff to the Echo department. Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography. ~ National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or ~ National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ~ 3 years experience as clinical technologist, or two (2) years as a registered technologist. Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.
